“I am, Dietician Dipikaa A Bhatia, a cancer winner at stage 4th with 28 tumors on my large intestine. After battling cancer and winning over, I decided to dedicate my life to building the health of society by guiding them towards a better diet and lifestyle. I run my own NGO since then called, “Aas Ek Prayaas” towards cancer awareness. I’m the Founder and All India President, of my NGO! I also run my own clinic called “BBE Healthy Diet Clinic.””

2. Tell us about your journey…

“I was diagnosed with cancer last stage, 4 years ago. I bore a lot of pain, underwent surgery and multiple chemos and I survived the battle against cancer. So, I thought about other Cancer patients and their pain, their suffering. My father also died due to cancer. Thus, I strongly felt for other cancer patients. My thoughts and strong determination led me to study again and alongside this, I was also doing seminars and camps in many parks and in many reputed companies.”

“Slowly, I stopped thinking about why I had cancer and why I battled too much pain. Instead, I focused to make my NGO which today works towards cancer prevention and awareness.”

3. How was it like when you suffered from the deadly disease?

“It was a painful situation for me and my family but my will power and my family support worked for me and my spirituality led me to win over this deadly disease. Actually for cancer patients treatment is very expensive and on my treatment, my husband invested about 20 lakhs to cure me.”

Her Family Support Led her towards victory

“It was a critical situation for my family too. When your children are at the stage of choosing a career and need their parental support in terms of finances to put them through to courses and their mother was suffering from deadly cancer, so the situation was financially, emotionally, mentally and physically tiring, exhausting and tough for us. My survival expectancy was only 30% making it the toughest of times.”
