How did your love for makeup and skincare evolve?
My mother was running a salon in Delhi for the last 35 years and since childhood, I used to watch her doing makeup, skin treatment as well as hair techniques. As time went by, I started working and helping her in her salon. After school, I would simply sit in her salon and watch the staff doing their work. Slowly with time, I developed a keen interest in this field and it all just got inculcated in me. I attended many of the seminars, workshops and with more knowledge and confidence I started training the students in skin, hair, and makeup.
I have done my B.A Hons (English) from Delhi University and then landed up in the field of Aviation and was working with Kingfisher as a Flight Attendant. It’s a glamorous field that requires staying groomed and immaculate. After my wedding, I landed up in the teaching profession and taught in various schools.
But my love for makeup was so much that I had also been a part of many shows like Mr. & Ms. Indore, Kids Runway, etc. I now have an academy where I train professionals, housewives, and students makeup techniques. I can proudly say that I am a cosmetologist turned entrepreneur and own Rhythm’s Beauty Studio. I have launched Organic Facials and have also tied up with the brand Forest Essentials.
Difficulties you faced while achieving your dreams
I believe the strongest obstacle to a person pursuing their dreams is their lack of belief and confidence that their dreams are possible.
As for me, I would say not difficulties but yes I would say that during my teenage age I was not that mature and experienced enough to train my students in this field but my parents had a strong belief in me and gradually I gained confidence with time and now with the experience of 10-12 years I started up with my own studio and academy. I would also like to add one more thing that for a girl after marriage it’s a little difficult to live up and fulfill their dreams but in my case my in-laws especially my husband supported me, trusted me, encouraged, and motivated me to live up to my dream.

Message to other women to realize their dreams
When you reach an obstacle, turn it into an opportunity. You have a choice. You can overcome and be a winner, or you can allow it to overcome you and be a loser. The choice is yours and yours alone. And lastly “don’t give up on your dreams, or your dreams will give up on you.”
Goals for 2019
This year, make an effort to simplify your life. Whittle down your obligations, shed all unnecessary possessions and, when you are spending time with someone, focus only on them. In no time you may notice yourself feeling calmer and will be able to concentrate on the task at hand.

Strengthen your brow- The strong brows with the elaborated lashes, women have started experimenting with it and it can never go wrong.
Nails-
Beautiful nails are the attraction after the elaborate nail arts that we saw in the present year 2018, I suggest you be prepared for some glossy nude and pastel nails in 2019.
Body Scrubs–
It is evergreen. One skincare trend which is gaining considerable traction is of body scrubs. From multiple essential oils to new entrants with coffee- these scrubs are intended to stay thus leaving the skin healthy, soft, and glowing.
Hair–
Protect your hair with natural shampoo or organic shampoo, oils, and serums because it will strengthen your hair and add volume.
