1. Who are you and how are you into what you do?

“I am Dr. Richi Seth, a physio and nutritionist by profession, and in the profession to help people develop the habit of following a healthy lifestyle.”

2. Tell us about your journey.

“It takes a long time to become an overnight success. I graduated in Physiotherapy and mastered in Nutrition. At that time I used to dream about starting my own venture one day. I started as a consultant and got opportunities to work with multiple hospitals and with senior doctors and specialists like orthopedic surgeons, pediatricians etc. As I was going the family way, I had to quit my job which, at that time, was with a media company. I was the Brand Manager for Britannia, Dabur, Saffola etc. in my company.”

“According to me my child is my priority but I didn’t stop there. I started consulting in a nearby clinic, some private clients, writing blogs and articles for magazines and health websites. I was planning to start active practice when I again got a major setback as I met with an accident in which I had injured my leg and was on bed rest for good 6 months. Followed by another 6 months of rehabilitation, as the foot needed muscles buildup so that I could walk properly or run. That was the time when I saw many people around me with medical conditions who were trying to loose weight. I noticed that a lot of supplements, meal replacements and pills have come up in market which are not healthy options for our bodies internally.”

“My own journey and transformation from fat to fit as I gained during my bed rest with nil activity, inspired me to start this venture where motivation plays the key role in self transformation and lifestyle makeover too. Today the e-clinic is 3+ years old and running successfully with clients for all over the world.”

3.  What is the importance of a balanced diet in our lives?

4.  Why did you pursue a career as a dietitian of everything else?

“The aim was to keep myself and my family healthy, being a physio and also to have my own venture. My idea was to provide all the help under one roof. So now, while I plan diets for my clients I am also able to plan their exercises using both my professions.”

5. What role would you have chosen as a career option if not into nutrition?

Awarded

“I always had the interest in science, human anatomy and physiology. If not into Nutrition, I would have been a gynecologist or a surgeon.”

“An online consultation was not okay with many people, they wanted to come and visit their Dietitian which I didn’t have a choice as I was looking after my daughter and had to be around her always. But slowly with good results and mouth to mouth publicity, the brand started blooming.”
