Tell us about your journey?

Well, my journey has been a fulfilling one. I’ve lived life on my terms, taking decisions in the interest of the family, so there are no regrets really! If I lost out on some opportunities, I’ve been duly compensated in others. Success has come to me from unexpected quarters. It’s been a journey of diligence, experimentation, and making the most of my attributes. If I look back, I’ve evolved and come a long way. I wish to touch more milestones in this eventful journey called life.

The Winning Stree Moment…

Nothing can beat the joy of motherhood! Holding my son in my arms for the first time, and then my daughter has been ‘The Winning Stree’ moment for me. Professionally, I’d say the launch of my first book was one such moment. I think every moment that makes you ascend to another level is a ‘WinningStree’ moment.

Your belief…

The choice is always yours. You have to learn to own your decisions. Sometimes you may bite off more than you can chew. But you need to brush aside the negativity and move on. You have to have guts and enter the vortex of life which is in a constant state of influx and embrace its challenges. There’s no time to grumble and mope. Move on!

The three things that you say to yourself

Life is beautiful. I choose to be happy.
Every day and in every way, I am getting better and better.

Thank You, God, for making me, me.

The first thing you say to yourself when you wake up in the morning?

Thank You, God, for this beautiful day. I hope to live it to the fullest.

As a social media influencer, what are the two things that you would like to influence all your followers?

NEVER GIVE UP:
There is something for everyone out there. Go get it! Reach out to others, no man is an island; we all need help. So, don’t let your ego get in your way. Ask, and ye shall receive and vice-versa of course!

OBSERVE*LISTEN*LEARN
Your uniqueness lies in your skills which need to be constantly made better. Be open to change and learn something every day. So that when you see your past work, you can proudly say, “Hey, I’ve come a long way.” Be humble! The world will love you more.

Winning message to other women

Be you! Keep your face towards the light and feet firmly planted on the ground! Stop playing the blame game women and look for ways you can shine.

Difficulties you faced when fulfilling your dreams and aspirations

There was a time when I had my fingers in too many pies. I was running from one place to another, sleeping little, waking up early, coping up with deadlines, and exhausting myself.

Sometimes, I feel marketing yourself becomes difficult. When you work commercially, you have to give in to the client even though your sensibility doesn’t allow you to. I guess that is a tough decision that creative people face.

But strangely, I enjoyed every minute of it. I might have been a little irritable at times, but I had a very strong support system, both at home and work, so that made a world of difference.

What makes you extraordinary?

I’m an ordinary woman with maybe a bit of extra everything 😊My weight, my zeal, my love, my desire to keep the spark alive, my growing oneness with myself, to become better, to help, to empathize, to understand… above all, to live life Queensize with an attitude of gratitude!

If there was one thing that you wanted to change and this is career-wise/profession wise what would you have opted for and why?

Nothing at all! Maybe I’d like to be more organized, use technology to my advantage, but as a profession, I’m happy putting my heart on paper and imparting knowledge to those who need it. I feel writing and training are both very noble professions, and it gives me a high to see people who’ve trained under me, accomplish their goals, or others who can relate to and enjoy my writing.
