Very recently this beautiful soul also donned the hat of a producer by starting her own production company ‘Mahalsa Movie And Entertainment Pvt Ltd.’ Along with her Co-producers, the talented Ishan Sood and Ashmit Dino she is planning to bring Broadway musical to reality with this venture.
They are all set to create an iconic Mythological Musical which will be a one of its kind in India. With plans to on-board 200 plus crew members, Mahalsa meaning Durga stays true to her name of being enormous.
A grand platform is already set by this inspiring lady for new and budding talents to share stage space and deliver world-class masterpieces to her audiences. She has in her quest of creating a fusion of her belief and entertainment, declared producing ‘Neelkanth’ which is going to be her first production venture.
Neelkanth is synonymous to ‘Lord Shiva’ the magnificent of all Indian Gods and she has plans to make it even more spectacular. She is gearing up to bring to life divinity by illustrating Shiva’s story and his experiences live on the stage.
Kajal is a true example of women who are struggling hard to get to the top and going against the odds to do what she truly believes in. This self-driven and self-motivated woman entrepreneur recently launched the first poster of ‘Neelkanth’ on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri. And to do this she and her team invited none other than actor Mohit Raina from the ‘Devon Ke Dev Mahadev’ fame.
Mohit seemed more than happy to be at the poster launch of Neelkanth, the subject being very close to his heart. Having played the role of Shiv in Devon ke Dev Mahadev he was the perfect choice to honor the crew with his presence during the poster launch.
Mohit had recently also starred in the famous Bollywood feature film, ‘URI – A Surgical Strike.’ Planning to release ‘Neelkanth’ in theaters on September 2019, she has already roped in her Mahadev too for this grand musical.
Speaking at the poster launch Mohit said, “I am blessed and honored to be present for this launch.” He further said that he believed the actor Shivam Pal Singh (Son of famous actor Surendra Pal Singh) would take the role of Neelkanth to a different level and will create a different identity than what Mohit had showcased earlier in his mythological series as Shiva initially.
Kajal added, “I am thankful to Mohit for taking out enough time to be present here to grace this special occasion.” Ishan Sood, director for this Broadway musical and Ashmit Dino the co-producer of the same were also present at the launch.
Other noted celebrities like Aru K Verma of the Befikre fame also recently coming in Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji on StarPlus and Anwesha Dutta, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa winner also graced the occasion. Aru K Verma is an actor also known for his roles in Rock Star (2011), 2 States (2014), and Jab Harry Met Sejal (2017). Anwesha also sang a few lines for the poster launch making it even more special for the Mahalsa Team while her voice can also be heard in the songs for this show.
Mohit Raina the reel Mahadev and my favorite too and the occasion of Maha Shivratri, witnessed the launch of this grand Broadway musical making it an apt choice and picture perfect. Fetching facts from Maha Shiv Puran, and with proper research, Kajal is all set to create a marvel with her first ‘Neelkanth’.
