Inspiring Entrepreneurs: A Journey From “CAN I” to “I CAN” – Book Launch Event All About Empowering Females

On Friday the 14th of September 2018, the book called Inspiring Entrepreneurs: A Journey From “CAN I” to “I CAN” was launched in a gala event at the Global Literary Festival in Noida, authored by none other than our very own Winning Stree, Mrs. Anju Handa. Held at the Marwah Studios, at Sector 16A Film City Noida, this event was attended by some eminent guests and speakers from various walks of life.

Chief dignitaries on the Dias, included Dr. Sandeep Marwah (President, Marwah Studios & an eminent Indian Film Producer), Mrs. Anju Handa (Author Inspiring Entrepreneurs & Chairperson Green Events), Ms. Bani Yadav (Indian Car Racer), Mr. Sushil Bharti (Director Broadcasting, Marwah Studios) and eminent Hindi writers, Shri Pankaj Mitra, Shri Rakesh Bihari & Shri Bhal Chandra Joshi who graced the occasion with their presence.

It was a power-packed afternoon with all the guests and achievers speaking on women empowerment which made the atmosphere all the more positive & progressive, showcasing women power. The book featured female entrepreneurs who emerged as winners creating a niche for themselves despite facing difficulties and undergoing failures in life. All their inspiring journeys of power, determination, and firm dedication were mentioned in the book.

The book was a second edition presented by Notion Press, the first one released same time last year, which had covered more such inspiring females and their interesting journeys. The book will be available both internationally and in India on leading platforms like, Amazon India, Amazon International, Flipkart, Kobo, Google Play, and other E-Book platforms.

An initiative by She Connects, an all woman’s club launched recently by Mrs. Anju Handa herself which connects all Empowering Women, bringing them together and pledging to empower more women in their journeys. Inspiring Entrepreneurs was one such initiative which brings forth success stories of wonder women who inspire and help us resurrect our inner strength and gather ourselves to do our best.

Mr. Sushil Bharti (Director Broadcasting at Marwah Studio & Broadcaster at 107.4 FM) spoke about the importance of women and how women are not lesser than anyone. He stated a need for educating the male child to adapt to the current changed ways and to make them more gender sensitized. He recalled on how he had connected with Mrs. Anju Handa on a talk show at 107.4 FM ‘Woman the Achievers’.

Writer, Shri Pankaj Mitra, stated that every time we state that despite being a woman she has achieved something, we label her for being from a weaker sex. Mr. Bhal Chandra Joshi emphasized on how we should change demeaning outlook towards women and consider them as equals while, Mr. Rakesh Bihari stated that Men should awaken the women inside them and start thinking like females, that is when Men will actually transform and adapt to females and their changing ways.

 

Dr. Bani Yadav, eminent car racer and ace woman rally driver, having many awards in her kitty stated that the ways of parenting should change and that children should be sensitized right from their upbringing to become more gender sensitized. All household chores should be taught to both the daughter and the son is what she emphasized on. 

These 17 women achievers were published about in the book as follows:

Jyotish Acharya Sarvesh Gupta, Dr. Kajal Sevak Mugrai, Ms. Nancy Juneja, Ms. Ranjana Sharma, Ms. Neetika Chadha Sabhlok, Ms. Parul Kumar, Ms. Sangeeta Raj, Ms. Priya Sawant, Ms. Ruchee Rastogi, Ms. Ruchika Jain, Ms. Kiran Sharma, Ms. Neesha Thakkar, Ms. Sukhvinder Siddhu, Dr. Jitu Singh, Ms. Nidhika Bahl, Ms. Puneeta Chandna & Ms. Shilani Sadh!

All these woman achievers also spoke about their journeys and how they established themselves successfully in their professions as Inspiring entrepreneurs. To the youth sitting as audience, each and every woman addressing on the podium stated that they should keep trying and never give up. There was loud applause for all the women achievers.

Mrs. Anju Handa spoke about her inspiring life journey and how she never bothered about the money but went ahead in life being self-driven and self-motivated. She also said that women are born as powerful, all they need to do is identify their potential and work on it to achieve success. For her, the empowered woman is powerful beyond measure and beautiful beyond description. Ms. Handa thanked all the female achievers, the panel and Mr. Marwah from the core of her heart for the wonderful opportunity bestowed upon her.

 

Lastly but not the least, Chief Guest Dr. Sandeep Marwah a well-known media personality and President, Marwah Studios addressed the crowd. His charisma made the audience break into a loud applause as he cheered them up with his poetry. He greatly impacted the crowd with his powerful words stating that to become a media person one should be able to write, read and speak. He also emphasized the youth to be passionate about their goals and to keep trying. He also spoke about his mission to make India a powerful country when it comes to Media, Arts and Films.

The book was uncovered and launched by all of the guests at the end of the powerful speeches.  All the dignitaries and female achievers were also felicitated by Dr. Marwah for their various contributions. Posing for a picture with the book alongside Dr. Marwah, all the participants looked happy, contained and more empowered to empower further women. All in all, it was a great event and we from Winningstree congratulate Ms. Anju and all the other women achievers wishing them more success!
