KARVA CHAUTH 2020.
For the long life of the husband, Kartik month’s Krishna Paksha, the Chaturthi, a fast is observed by married ladies, which is kept on the Chaturthi! This year it will be celebrated on 4th November. Karva Chauth festival is being celebrated by Suhagan (Married women). On this day married women keep fast for the long life of their husbands. They are not allowed to drink a single drop of water during the Karva Chauth festival. The fast is being broken after the moon rising. After the moon rising women worship the moon, see their husbands face from a seive and the husbands break their wives fast by feeding them first bite.

Karwa Chauth Book: This book is important for reading the story. This story / Katha written in the book, is read by an elderly woman, or Pandit Ji while married women revolve their Pooja Thalis.
Puja plate: Put roti, rice, water filled with lotus, dessert, and vermilion in the plate of worship.
Karava: Mix black sugar mixed with sugar syrup and make clay or made of copper made from that soil.
Makeup items: Women Deckup as Newly Wed Brides! They wear Mehndi designs on hands.
KARWA CHAUTH PUJAN METHOD
⦁ According to Narada Purana, on this day Lord Ganesha should be worshipped. To worship on Karva Chauth, make an altar of sand or white clay and establish Lord Shiva – Goddess Parvati, Swami Kartikeya, Moon, and Ganesha, and worship them accordingly.
⦁ Start the Karva Chauth fast by saying this resolution. At the time of worship, the following mantra- “Mum Sukhasubabyaan Pyaatrautari Sukshir Shree Pratyya Chaturthi Vrathamah Karisya
⦁ At the time of the evening, Worship Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati and pray and fill the water in Karva. Women listen to the story by keeping the fast. After receiving the moon’s sight, the husband and wife should together take food and water.
