1.Who are you and how are you into what you do?
I am a girl who has never given up, and my small venture The Virtual Wiz-your extra pair of hands has now spread all over the world.
I am into this as I am just following my passion, passion to help businesses grow, passion to help others be it my team who is working for me or my clients with whom I am working.
The Virtual Wiz is a dream that I saw with my eyes wide open while working in the corporate world for 20 years.
2. Tell us about your journey.
With my corporate job I was able to sustain my needs and those of my family, but I struggled to accept the fact that I was not meant for 9-5 positions and I want to do something of my own, that’s how this baby delivered.
So far, the journey has been like a roller coaster ride that i am enjoying and have helped 100+ startups & coaches as a Virtual Assistant & Social Media Specialist.
3. Why did you choose this business?
We wanted to take advantage of the growing market for virtual assistants in foreign countries by providing work to women who have the right skills but are unable to return to traditional jobs for whatever reason. New concept for Indian Market and blessing for those who don’t want to hire a permanent full time resource with heavy packages.
4. How do virtual assistants fit in to be useful for business owners?
When you hire a virtual assistant, you can get rid of some simple tasks – such as setting up events & posting on social Media, handling some emails, and scheduling meetings – so you can devote your time to tasks that require your continuous attention.
When you work hand in hand with a virtual assistant, many of your company’s processes can be optimized.
5. Difficulties that you faced while fulfilling your dreams?
Businesses are challenging to run, and VA businesses are no exception. It’s normal to struggle.I faced many challenges without realizing that I am struggling. The biggest challenge would be keeping up with the technical skills. It is a highly competitive industry. Meeting the standards my clients have set for me and adding value to them.
6. What makes you extraordinary?
Our company is an innovative start-up that is introducing virtual services in India for the first time. We’re forward-thinking and I’m excited about our future. In our opinion, getting hooked up to the new ways of working is important and definitely needed, as it would provide you with a better output, while reducing your expenses. Our company illustrates this well.
A second highlight of our organization is the issue of gender equality. Since our founding, we have worked to empower women by hiring only women.
7. What is the best thing that you like about your business and why?
What I liked about my business is that it is 100% owned and operated by women, and I am able to help women who want to start their second innings and restart their careers.
8. If you had not opted for this business, then what else would you have pursued?
Oh that’s very simple i would be running an NGO for Dogs as i believe they give you selfless love.
9. Your WinningStree Moment?
In my journey so far, I have provided employment to 25 girls around the globe and team size will keep on increasing. Despite the pandemic, I still managed to pay them as my virtual business boomed. That was my greatest Aha Aha moment. People usually only talk about women’s empowerment, but I actually practice it.
